Terms of Service

Last updated: April 27, 2026

1. Who you're contracting with

The Page Pace service ("Service") is provided by Alexandria Waldroup("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you enter into an agreement with Alexandria Waldroup on these terms.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Eligibility and account

You must be of legal age to enter into a contract. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. The service

Page Pace helps you set a daily reading pace, track progress across books, and stay on schedule. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal use within the plan you've selected.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use the Service unlawfully or for fraud or spam.
  • Infringe intellectual-property rights.
  • Interfere with security (malware, probing, unauthorized scraping).
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.
  • Circumvent technical limits or rate limits.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including the software, documentation, and branding. Content you create remains yours; you grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service.

7. Payment, subscriptions, and billing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment terms, billing frequency, taxes, currency, renewals, and cancellations are governed by the Paddle Checkout Buyer Terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel any time; access continues until the end of the current paid period.

8. Free trials

If a free trial is offered, you will be charged automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.

9. Service level

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete your data after a reasonable period.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited.

12. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Alexandria Waldroup resides, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

15. Contact

For questions about these Terms, contact Alexandria Waldroup via the support channels in the app. For payment, refund, or invoice questions, contact Paddle at paddle.net.
